1️⃣Create quality content for your website and social media pages that is relevant and meaningful to your audience.
Tip: When writing and proofreading your content, look at it from the customer's perspective. I.e., WIIFM (what’s in it for me?).
Even if you have a really great offering, the customer ONLY cares about WIIFM.
Repeat after me: WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
What type of content, you ask? It could be written on your social media pages with an eye-catching
photo, 🌉 or on your website as a blog, a video, or either of those with an offering, such as a free download, for example.
In the end, it's all about the relationship you're building with potential clients. It is critical to build trust before you should even be thinking about pitching them!
2️⃣Post on social media regularly. Daily is best, but try not to do it less than weekly. Show your audience that the lights are still on, and keep your business top-of-mind for them.
Tip: when you're creating content for social media, you can create a few posts at a time and schedule the posts in Facebook™ to be shared on any days you'd like!
Additionally, be sure to respond to messages you receive whether it’s a comment on a post or a direct message.
3️⃣Do a review of your website:
✅Is your offering crystal clear?
✅Is all the information up-to-date?
✅Do all the links work?
✅Are you using search engine optimization (SEO)?
✅Can the overall esthetic be easily improved?
These are just a few of the simple and free things you can do on your own to increase your brand’s credibility and attract more customers.
Of course, there are many more things you can do to boost your brand, such as exploring paid ads and hiring a professional to optimize your website, for example. But, the aforementioned tips are things you can start doing today!
